Working Out May Prevent Colds, Flus With colds, flus and viruses going around, getting up and moving may be just what the doctor ordered. An article on msnbc.com states that moderate exercise may help boost the body's defenses, as long as you don't overdo it...the perfect way to stay on track with your fitness goals and stay healthy.
If you're worried about the germs at the gym, how about a holiday boot camp, bike ride, outdoor jog or a local Turkey Trot (5K) this season? Try to get in about 30 minutes of aerobic activity three to four times a week. This should help keep you on track and feeling great!
