Preparing For Your Dunk

1. What should I wear?
Try to wear something snug fitting such as a swimsuit, bike shorts, sports bra, or speedo etc. Regular men's bathing suits hold a lot of air in the water, and this can affect your results.

2. Can I eat or drink prior to the test?
Eating and drinking prior to testing has no appreciable effect on the outcome of your dunk, but I recommend to give yourself at least 1 hour after a large meal if at all possible. As for drinking, just try to stay hydrated at your usual level.

3. Can I workout prior to my dunk?
Yes you can. I do recommend to give yourself at least 20 minutes of cool down time prior to testing. We want to have your heart rate at or about your normal level.

4. Do I get my printout at the time of the test?
Yes you do. As a matter of fact, one of our trained staff will go over your results with you and give you some helpful advice. It's lot of fun and a great way to see where you stand.

Preparing For Your RMR Test

1. What should I wear?
The Resting Metabolic Rate test is done while sitting in a comfortable chair, so you can wear whatever you want!

2. Can I eat or drink prior to the test?
It is highly recommended to not eat and to have no caffeine for four hours prior to the test. Water intake is okay.

3. Can I workout prior to my dunk?
It is highly recommended to not do any exercise for twelve hours prior to the test for best results. You want your body to be as at rest as possible for this test.

Preparing For Your VO2 Test

1. What should I wear?
The VO2 test is an exercise test, so work-out clothes (including tennis shoes) are required.

2. Can I eat or drink prior to the test?
Remember that you're going to be doing some vigorous exercise, so you want to make sure that you have enough energy to do this, but you don't want to make yourself sick! As for drinking, just try to stay hydrated at your usual level.

3. Can I workout prior to my VO2 test?
You don't want your body to be too tired to do the VO2 test effectively, so if you can hold off on doing a cardio workout until after the test, that's best.
